My New Year's Eve Mani....Lynnderella Change & CG Blue Year's Eve.

Hey guys! Happy New Year's Eve! ;-) Did you have a good Christmas? Do you have any big plans for tonight? I'm getting ready to head out, but wanted to get my NYE mani. posted before the night is over. :-)

I started out using two coats of China Glaze Blue Year's Eve, which is from the CG Holiday 2011 collection. BYE is a deep blue glass fleck. Application was a little runny, but nothing too bad.

I then added two coats of Lynnderella Change. Changes is made up of different shades of gold, copper and red glitter. The glitter is multi shaped....squares,round and hex of different sizes.

First up, the finished mani.

Lynnderella Happy Holo Daze and OPI Gift of Gold.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day day.....whether you celebrate Christmas or not. :-)

This is going to be another short one, but I wanted to get my Christmas mani. posted before the day is over. I used OPI Gift of Gold as my base. It's from last year's Ulta holiday exclusives. Gift of Gold is made up of mostly gold glitter. It also has some red and silver glitter throughout. Application was absolutely wonderful for a glitter. Seriously. It was a one coat glitter! That doesn't happen very often.

I put two coats of Lynnderella Happy Holo Daze on top. Happy Holo Daze in one word, is awesome!!! It's like a bottled Christmas party! :-) It has different sizes of red, and green square glitter, and round glitter. It also has red and green bar glitter, and silver holo hex glitter.

Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake over Fashion Bug Boysenberry

Good morning! I absolutely can't believe it's Friday already! This week has flown by so fast. I've been super busy! Actually, this month has gone fast for me. I feel like I have been going non stop since Dec. started. I can't believe it's Christmas in two days!

I have another Lynnderella holiday polish to show you today. It's called One Nutty Fruitcake, and like all Lynnderella's I LOVE it! :-) It's a multi colored and multi shaped glitter. I layered it over a polish I picked up at Fashion Bug, of all places. Did you know they carry polish now? They actually have some nice colors too. I picked up two of them. The one I have on today, is called Boysenberry. It's a med. purple foil, and application was really, really good. I only had to use ONE coat too! :-)

We went to see the Nutcracker last night, and I wore this as my mani. I really love how it turned out. The pics. don't do it justice. I don't know what the problem was yesterday, but I had to take so many pics. of this mani! I finally got a few okay. ones. I hope anyway. ;-)

First up, is the full mani. with Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake.

Essie Cocktail Bling & Essie Pure Pearlfection

Good afternoon! I have to post and run again, but wanted to at least post something today. I have to meet our horse vet at the stables in 30 min. Shortcake, my horse has to have her winter check up and shots. She's going to be just thrilled! ;-)

Today, I'm going to show you two of the Holiday polishes from Essie. First up is Essie Cocktail Bling. It's a med. gray creme, that I just adore! The color is great, application was great, and I used two coats. I wore this for three days, and on the second day, I decided to bling it up just a little. I added one coat of Essie Pure Pearlfection. PP is a white shimmer with mint green and pinkish sparkles through out. It's really pretty, and I can't wait to try it over multiple colors I picked both of these colors up at Walgreens.

The Make Up Store's Greta.

Good afternoon! This is going to be a short one, as I'm about to run out the door. My busy,BUSY week starts now. lol....Thankfully, I am feeling much better. Today, I have on one of the awesome holos from the Make Up Store. I have no idea why I'm just now wearing this, as I got it over the summer. We made a stop at the store in Denver, on our way to Steamboat Springs CO. so that I could get polish!

Greta is a silver holo. I can honestly say, that it is the best holo I have ever worn...so far. ;-) Application was great, and I used two coats.

Fing'rs Blue Jelly Glitter....Essie Starry Starry Night Dupe?

Happy Saturday! How has your day been so far? It's still been super busy around here, and it's not letting up anytime soon. My week next week, is jam packed! To top it off, I've not been feeling the greatest. I've spent the last two days laying around sleeping. I feel better today, but not 100% I so can't afford to be sick right now. :-(

Anyway, I did still manage to do my nails. ;-) Today, I have a really pretty blue jelly glitter to show you. It's made by Fing'rs and it comes in a cute little bear bottle. It doesn't have a name on it though. I got it on ebay. It looks like a close dupe to Essie's Starry Starry Night! SSN has been my biggest lemming forever. This has actually curbed that a bit. It's a gorgeous deep blue jelly, with silver glitter through out. I used three coats, and application was actually really good. I think it's an older bottle, so I wasn't sure how it would be. I love it! I think you can still find it on ebay from time to time.

Thanks for looking, and have a great day!! :-)

Christmas themed mani. using Lynderella's and Wet 'n Wild.

Good afternoon! How is your day going? It's cold and dreary here, but DH and I have plans to got out tonight. I'm hoping the bad weather will hold off for a few hours. We are going to the Kansas City Country Club Plaza to see the Christmas lights, and eat at the Melting Pot. It's a fondue restaurant, so lots of yummy cheese and chocolate dips. This will be my first time there, and I'm excited! :-) I've wanted to eat there forever!

Anyway, I decided to do Christmas nails today. I started out with Wet 'n Wild Rockin' Rubies, which is part of the Ice Baby Holiday collection. It has fine red glitter with round, hex glitter. The polish was a bit on the thick side, but nothing too bad. I used three coats for full coverage. I had planned on just wearing this color, but then I started messing around with my Lynnderella polishes. I added a coat of Lynnderella I Can Afford It, which is made of of bright green glitter in different shapes and sizes. It also has a few gold and purple glitter pieces through out. I added a bit too much green, and decided it needed more red. So I grabbed another Lynnderella....Ruby Red Ruby. RRR is made up of all red glitter in different shapes and sizes. I am loving this combo, but dreading taking it off! I have on NINE coats of polish! That's including my treatment, base and topcoats.

Here are pics. of the finished mani.

Nabi Jumbo Purple Glitter over Finger Paints Black Expressionsim.

Well. Here I am yet AGAIN, apologizing for being MIA. I am sorry, and I really appreciate you all sticking with me. I fully expected to log on and see that I'd lost followers. Not only did I not lost any, but I gained a couple. So thank you to all who have stayed, and welcome to the new comers. :-) I really appreciate ALL of you. :-)

I didn't expect this week to be so busy. It all started on Fri. evening when I got a call from my mom, telling me that President Obama was going to be in my hometown, speaking at the high school I graduated from. I seriously thought she was joking. I'm from a very small town in Kansas, called Osawatomie. There are around 4,500 people who live there. I have no idea why Obama chose us, but he did. I had to go. This was a HUGE deal for my little town. There were only 400 tickets to give away. So, on Sun. morning, my husband and I drove down and stood in line for tickets. We got in line at 6am and stood there until noon. It was absolutely freezing cold. It was well worth it though, because we got our tickets! Obama spoke on Tues. and it was really amazing to be a part of it. My dad, who has been a history teacher at the high school for almost 50 years got to sit right down in front. Pretty cool! The entire thing still feels so surreal. You would not believe the amount of cops, swat team, secret service, bomb dogs etc...that were all around the town. Anyway, that's where I've been the past few days. Something I will never forget. :-)

Okay...on to the nail news. ;-) My nails are slowly getting longer after my nail catastrophe, and I think I finally found my perfect black creme. It's Finger Paints Black Expressionsim. It's what I've been looking for, forever! It's not runny, not too thick, doesn't chip and it's a ONE coater. It's smooth, and applies like a dream. I applied Nabi Purple Jumbo glitter over it. Purple Jumbo Glitter is pretty amazing! It's made of small and med. orange glitter, large orange hex glitter, large orange square glitter, and round purple glitter. I am loving it over black! I also tested over purple and it looked great too.

Essie Luxeffects Shine of the Times

Good morning! How has your week been going? Mine continues to be crazy busy! I'm ready for the weekend!

I had a nail catastrophe over the weekend, and now my nubbins have nubbins. :-( Ugh. I am so annoyed by this, but what can I do? It's been a long time since I had to file my nails this short. The timing sucks too. I have lots of good Holiday manis. planned, and now my nails are short. Hopefully they will grow fast. If any of you have any tips to get fast growing nails, please share! ;-)

I finally found the Essie Luxeffects collection at Walgreens. I grabbed two of them, but am thinking about going back for the rest. I have a lot of free points to use before Jan. so I think I might be able to get them for free!

The one I'm going to show you today is the flakie. It's called Shine of the Times, and it's a mostly orange flakie, but there are some green flakes in it too. I layered it over Sally Hansen Forbidden Fudge. FF is a dark brown, and it has some gold sparkle to it. I used two coats of it, and application was pretty good. It was just a little runny, but nothing too bad.

Sally Hansen Forbidden Fudge...these aren't the best pics. but I think you can get an idea of what it looks like. It really is a pretty polish, and looks much better in person. ;-)

Thanks so much for looking! Have a great day! :-)
